Wow, well what a week, after some weeks of cancelled raids and people retiring and moving on, we started this raid week with a rebuilt team and some new members. Getting one FK in the week was always a bonus but getting two is just pleasantly unexpected. Fantastic effort by all, getting Purtricide down especially after such close efforts.
I really looking forward to the next raid week with definitely a good possibility of getting Blood queen down and then once again we are nibbling at the heals of those hardcore guilds: p

Well after the guilds 5th year anniversary party we needed to clear out heads a bit. Hic! So we managed to go to ICC and start “troubling” the bosses again and managed a Valithria Dreamwalker first kill tonight and hopefully more next raid day. Big Grats to those that took part and go sign for Tuesdays raid you slackers!!!

Well after a week off ICC 10man progress we come back to clear in one night with a Sindragosa first kill and Lich king into 2nd phase. So a little more work on tactics and hopefully we should get the Lich king down

Happy 5th Anniversary to Lightwalkers
Its been a long Journey for the guild since the early days of raiding Ony, Molten Core and UBRS (Yes you used to have to raid it). We have had our ups and our lows and have had the pleasure of many peoples company in their time playing WOW. Some have gone on to greatness, some retired from the game, some lost their battle with life and some people who, if run over, struck by lightning. …well ill leave it at that.
We have also been privileged to be part of raid alliances with Protectorate and Wild Girls who together helped us all see so much of the early content in Warcraft . Thanks guys :)
To top off the anniversary celebrations we decided to hold a guild party with a great idea of running a guild quest run. A big thanks to Indigo who planned and built all the quests, the admins that helped out Snip, Stalwart, Vireni and also a huge thanks to two long time friends of the Guild, Spifza and Issca from Protectorate.
We started off with a quest in Stormwind, taking us to Goldshire and from there onto Spiffy holding the fort in Duskwood. Eventually quests led us all into Gnomeregan and from there to a slow fall instigated by Issca ( not for all though :p) off the high lifts in the Barrens. We finally met up for a party, mammoth race and fireworks at the Shimmering Flats track in Thousand Needles.
Well another successful trip into ICC 10man another FK with Valithria Dreamwalker being one shot, which left us with time to try Sindragosa getting her down to 15% so hopefully next time we can focus on the phase 3 a little longer than half an hour.
